I had a baby girl back in December. When she was about 2 months old I was fooling around with some words and humming and it seemed to calm her down. Then I added to the song bit by bit.

I am trying to figure out how to get this song to "Sesame Street" or some other form of kids production. Does anyone have any idea how to get a song to "Sesame Street"?

Here is the lyrics to the song:

"We're gonna go for a ride"

We're gonna go for a ride
I'm gonna take you to the slide
And while we're sitting at the park
We're gonna listen to the puppies bark

We're gonna go for a ride
I'm gonna take you to the slide
Then it's off to the shore
Play in the sand a little more

We're gonna go for a ride
We're gonna go for a ride
I'm gonna take you to the slide
We're gonna go for a ride

We're gonna go for a ride
I'm gonna take you to the slide
Then it's off to the zoo
Let's see what the funny monkey's do.

We're gonna go for a ride
We're gonna go for a ride
I'm gonna take you to the slide
We're gonna go for a ride

We're gonna go for a ride
I'm gonna take you to the slide
It's time to go on the boat
Sit around and watch our bobbers float.

We're gonna go for a ride
We're gonna go for a ride
I'm gonna take you to the slide.
We're gonna go for a ride

(slower and quieter pace)
We're gonna go for a ride
I'm gonna take you to the slide
then you're gonna go to sleep
and start counting all the little sheep

Hope you like the lyrics. Try to use your own imagination with the beat. I already have the beat down I just don't have it recorded.

Hi... Sorry it took a while for this thread to show up. You might try looking up SW's mailing address and send your song there. Back when I composed a funny little long-versed numbers rap, I sent it to the address listed in an issue of Sesame Street Magazine. However, the rumor floating about here is that SW doesn't really accept fan submissions of songs or sketch ideas or episode ideas for use in the show. They'll acknowledge getting the submission and maybe send you a nice reply, but they seem to have a policy against using it in the show outright.

Hope this helps and have a good time exploring the rest of the forums.
