Keep in mind that it was Jim's idea for Disney to buy The Muppets Jim was a major Disney fan and he didn't want to do business with anyone else I believe that things would've been better if Jim didn't die

Solely on the notion that Disney had managed to keep characters like Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, et al. alive for years after Walt's passing; Jim figured if anything were to happen to him, Disney would do the same for the Muppets.

But, naturally, things would be different if he didn't die, but not everybody believes Jim would have continued to be involved with the Muppets to this day if he was still alive, considering he was in the process of branching out into a full-fledged movie production company at the time of his death (as well as turning the Creature Shop into a company that would supply animatronics and complicated puppets and suits for other Hollywood movies, much like George Lucas had his visual effects company Industrial Lights and Magic). Frank Oz has even predicted that Jim, more than likely, would have developed in deep interest in CGI animation, and may have gone on to be a key figure at Pixar.

Perhaps you're right but I'm still not convinced that The Muppets would be better off being owned by Warner Bros considering that their main priority seems to be that they want to compete with Marvel since Warner Bros owns DC comics

If you have any proof that The Muppets would be better off with Warner Bros I would love to see it

I think Warner Bros. would certainly be more adventurous and lenient with the brand as I'm assuming they aren't as busy as Disney... to quote Frank, Disney is way too precious with it, which is a detriment.

You make a good point but considering that Warner Bros doesn't do much with the classic Looney Tunes characters nowadays I'm concerned that Warner Bros would neglect the franchise and not make them a priority at least give Disney some credit that they still use The Muppets from time to time and they still use their own classic characters

Exactly.

And the only reason Disney became too precious with the property is because of Steve Whitmire’s bad behavior and now people not wanting to support them due to not comprehending that Whitmire was the only thing holding them back and not wanting them to take risks, considering how demanding and controlling Steve became.

With Whitmire now out of the picture, Disney might be more willing to take risks with the Muppets now and do things like let the performers have a full say in the writing.
