Nope he's a purebred Chinese Crested Hairless, and very very ugly. It looks like its been badly burned.

As has been said, you don't know whether to feel sorry for it or be happy for it in this case.

Poor little thing. You know what? I'm happy that it had someone who could love it and care for it!!

Those are good people.

I feel soooo sorrry for it though. He is being called ugly all the time when he is probably beauitiful on the inside.

I remember reading the article on him

I remember reading a newspaper article on that dog, and I couldn't believe how hideouse those pictures made him look, like he was possesed or something! But, I've seen it proven time and again that appearances are usually only skin deep. Like Fozzie said, I'm just glad he was able to be found by someone so kind-hearted who was willing to see beyond the "skin".
