Does anyone know where I can get the words to EVERY SONG ever sung on Sesame Street? I've tried one or two sites but they don't have hardly anything at all.

These are the songs I most want the words to:

1. Telephone Rock
2. Don Music version of the Sesame Street theme song
3. Don Music 's Mary Had a bicycle
4. Let's do the wash
5. the "SUBWAY" song (several muppets riding the subway and singing)
6. the "POCKETS"song (what do we do without pockets?.....pockets are perfectly fine)
7. Oscar's I love trash
8. Who are the people in your neighborhood
9. the "arrow" song
10. Don Music 's version of twinkle twinkle little star

Can someone help me please?

I tried but can't get through. Are there any other sites? I've tried lyrics, but it has crap. I found one site several months ago, but I forgot the web address. It had almost every song listed and even words to many scenes on the show. It didn't have the words to the Telephone Rock or the "Pockets" song.

I finally got in on that site ssetta. It had everything on my list except the "Subway" song and the "Pockets" song. I really want the words to the "Pockets" song. Do you know the words to the whole song? Thanks again, that web site is neat.

Oh also, thanks Beakie, I almost forgot about you. Good job, that site is good. I love it when a plan comes together!

Here are all the Don Music song lyrics you wanted:

MARY HAD A BICYCLE

Mary had a bicycle, it was as red as fire
And every time she wanted a ride, the bicycle had a flat tire!

SESAME STREET THEME

Stormy night, not even a star in sight
On my way to where the sky is dark
Can you tell me how to get
How to get to Yellowstone Park?

WHISTLE, WHISTLE LITTLE BIRD (Twinkle, Twinkle...)

Whistle whistle little bird
Eating crumbs is quite absurd
Have a ham and cheese on rye
Or a piece of cherry pie
If the crumbs are all you want
Don't come in my restaurant!

(I love that last one the best.)

Don Music was such a great character. Too bad he wasn't on "The Muppet Show". I could see him getting ridiculed by Floyd but counselled by Kermit and Rowlf.

If you can get your hands on

THE SESAME STREET 10th ANNIVERSARY ALBUM on LP,

they have a print out of all of the hit songs' lyrics inside on the album cover.

This was released in 1979, I believe.
