In Maxim (US edition) issue 162 there's an article about the music group My Morning Jacket and in the article they said this:
Two of the songs on the album were originally written for the Muppets' Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem Band. "We wanted to do a tour with the Muppets onstage and us behind a curtain," explains (Tom) Blankenship. Alas, MMJ won't be jamming with Animal on drums, a breakdown (Jim) James attributes to "corporate bulls**t."...

So we actually almost get a new EM album and a whole friggin' tour!!!

It would be great if, sometime in the future, The Electric Mayhem gets to do covers of both songs.
