I'll admit I wasn't sure what to make of this story when I read the introduction, but I continued through and I'm glad I did. You did a great job writing Sam in character (I love him saying he "washes with a damp sponge"), and it appears that you have a lot of genuine sentiment and care for the subject matter and the characters, which is great to see.

I hope you continue to update this story more.
