Why is there more kid stuff on TV than on the radio?

Does anybody know why TV has children's stuff, but not the radio?

From my experience baby-sitting, that is 100% true

I don't understand your reasoning for asking such a question. I sure before TV was invented radio would of had a bunch of for kids.

That's true. There were many shows for children on early radio. I have a few of them, and I'm sure there were many that I don't have. I guess back in the 50's and 60's, the kids were the ones who adapted easier to the new invention. Kid's shows took off, but older people still wanted to listen to the radio, so there still had to be programing for them. Just a theory.
And he/she asked because he/she was curious.
