Why does Oscar the Grouch have a line in the Chilly Down song?

I've been listening to the Labyrinth soundtrack a lot lately and keep hearing Oscar with the line that goes something like, "And your feet are dragging on the ground..." Now I know we didn't see him in the movie, but did he make some kind of cameo appearance in the song?

Oscar's not singing it. I think it's the heavy-set Fiery singing it. Carol Spinney isn't in the song.

Are you sure? It's unmistakably Oscar. :grouchy:

its not oscar, i don't think Carrol Spinney was even involved in Labyrinth. it sounds more like kevin clash. heres a link to the fireys and it will tell you who voiced them

That gruff voice just sounds a lot like Oscar. It isn't Spinney or intended to be or sound like Oscar. I hear it a little and can see what you're saying. Just a weird similarity.

I think it is so funny to hear the same voices on so many different characters.
