John Lennon may be from Liverpool but he also may have become a citizen, I don't know if he did or not. Arnold Schwarnzenegger is a citizen and he's from Austria.

I agree. I know he went through the process of getting a green card but I don't know if he ever applied for citizenship. As far as the Greatest Person, we can talk about that here, too. I just wanted to point out the vote.

I voted for Abraham Lincoln, Walt Disney, Jim Henson, Mark Twain and... I forget who the other one was I voted for. But there have been an awful lot of great Americans.

John never became an official citizen. He was given residency; but he was never an official American. Woo, brits!!
