Who's The best muppet?

Anyway... the reason I only thoght up Jerry is... there's not alot of people who you can compare Kermit too... he's very original and by far the leader of the "muppet clan". The person that comes the closest too him is probably Jim Henson... but thats kinda the same guy.

That is quite true, Kermit is a very original character in his own right, and thus there are very few things that compare to him. And in all ways, Jim and Kermit were nearly interchangable, so Jim doesn't really count, except in that a person/thing that can be compared to Kermit the Frog would then also be compared to Jim Henson.

Of course I was just kidding about the 14th century ripoff thing I just happened upon that funny story recently.


However, I think even the Diz knows hes just a symbol more now than anything.

And besides...you can meet and see Kermit with Steve at a con or special appearence. You cant meet or see Mickey (or any other Disney or Looney Tunes or Simpsons) unless its some pimply faced teen in a suit.

There is no "best" Muppet, but the funniest Muppet is Gonzo, in my opinion.

There is no overall best muppet - I think everyone just has their own favourite whom to them is their best muppet.
