Hi! I've been wondering... who is the guy who sings
those songs in the live action letter skits?! I heard his same
voice in "Annie" ( You're never fully dressed without a
smile). The only one I can think of is the "What I Like About 'U'"
song. It sounds like a goofy old stock tape--but of who?!
And how could he sing the Sesame originals?! Help me?

It could be Chris Cerf, Sesame Street's main source of its Rock n' Roll music.

I think he did in some of them, but he did not sing on "Annie."

Maybe you're thinking of a different voice. What live action letter skits are you thinking of?

I was thinking of "I'm wild about U" or something(with the dancing kids and the foam Us). He might have not sung in "Annie after all. But he sounds like the guy who sings the Rolie Polie Olie
theme(don't ask). An old recording voice. WAIT! He sang the song
"Dress up". The one with all the little kids.
