Hello, TMS fans! I don't know who the purple bird muppet is where he takes place of Gonzo, because he's off to India to become a movie star. It was on the episode where Lola Falana guest stars.

Do you remember who the purple bird is that fills in for Gonzo on the Lola Falana episode?

His name was Trevor the Gross, and he was performed by Steve Whitmire if I remember right.

This sounds interesting. Does anyone have a picture of this bird?

Actually Trevor is green. He has a big funky orange bill and orange horns/ears on the sides of his head as well as semi-googly eyes (but the pupils don't move; they just look googly/goofy). I don't have a picture, but I think I may have seen one on the net. Sit tight, maybe someone will come up with a link. Or, start a new thread under the title "Trevor the Gross pic".
