Lately, I've been hearing this joke over and over again that goes "The Artist Formerly Known Prince". Who started this?

Heehee, his name is back to being Prince again, did you hear? I read it somewhere.

Anytime in such skit, someone is of royalty, and/or an artist of some sort, some shouts out "That's the artist formerly known as Prince".
