here is who i think would have worked:

beautiful day monster
mo the frackle
dark green hunchback frackle

beauregard (he could have easily had angel maries lines)
bobo (ditto)
andy and randy pig (they could have been flying monkeys because they are miss piggys nephews, and they could have been used to annoy the cawardly lion)
link hogthrob (he could have had johnny fiamas role)

luncheon counter monster
doglion
the mutations
polly lobster
mad monty
clueless morgan

these characters are from fraggle rock and probably couldn't have been included, although aretha was in the movie and she was originally from fraggle Rock.

I forgot to include uncle deadley in my list. he also should have been in Muppet Treasure Island, either as a pirate or in the role of blind pew (they look so much alike, and were both performed by jerry nelson).

those are good suggestions, but to use all of them, there'd be like, 40 Flying Monkeys, which would be too much. (it was fun to see Crazy Harry again)

Uncle Deadly should have been there.
Link should have been there and said a bunch of stuff, along with Uncle Deadly.
I also agree that Link could have had Johnnys lines and role in the movie.


Here's something, what if they put Robin as one of the flying monkeys? That would have been risky and gutsy at the same time. it would have bene a good risk though.
