So Frank still does play his characters on SS sometimes, or is that just in older sketches?

Frank still works a couple of days a year on Sesame Street, doing as many inserts as he can.

He played Cookie Monster in the Letter of the Day segments in season 33. In a few of those, as Phillip mentioned, Frank also played Grover. In those shots, David played Cookie Monster.

I believe Frank continues as Cookie for the Letter of the Day in season 34, and Eric plays Grover in Global Grover.

Hmmm. No news about Frank still doing Bert? Well, I guess Frank's Bert is heard in those "Journey to Ernie" skits and there aren't many new segments with him. Thanks for that info, Squirrel.

New Bert and Ernie scenes were taped for season 34. I'm not sure how many, if any, involved Frank.
