Who performed Rowlf on Muppets Tonight?

Did Rowlf ever appear on MT? cuz on IMdb it says baretta played him, but i don't remeber him being there, and if so did he ever speak? (i think baretta does an adequite rowlf, it's not perfect, but better than nothing, and i think everyone would agree we'd probably want a slightly different sounding rowlf rather than none at all, cuz he was one of the very most important muppets, and he''s also the second oldest next to kermit

Rowlf had a cameo appearance in the Garth Brooks episode of MT, and only one line: "Oh yeah." And yes, he was performed by Bill Baretta.

thanks, it's a shame that he was only on one episode, along w/ statler and waldorf he's my favorite muppet
