The worst commercial in my opinion, is actually those stupid Ovaltine commercials. They hire the worst actors in the history of television.

Spam commercials are kinda stupid anyways. But some of the stupid ones are funny anyways. I actually wrote a story about a superhero I call Cheeseman, and his arch-nemisis(Dr. Lim B. Urger) where Dr. Urger tried to take over the world by using Mentos. Saying that he could kill 100 people, get caught in a gunfight, and all he'd have to do is show some Mentos, and nobody would arrest him. I think I have it online somewhere, I'll let you know when I see it, where it is.

I personallly have never seen this commercial before. But most commercials are stupid and annoying these days on purpose. They make them that way cause those are the ones you remember. Sad but true.

Okay, who's annoyed by the new commecials where those loud-mouthed people interrupt the commercial talking about how much they hate the commercials, but love the products.

By the way, did anyone besides me see and laugh at Gilbert Gottfried's version of the Head On commercial?

Well, they have to keep coming with fresh new ideas, even if they are a tad hypocritical!

For years, companies have purposely come up with annoying commericals. They're annoying, but you remember them! There was a 1950s head ache commerical with a pounding hammer that drove people crazy. And the "Don't squeeze the Charmin" guy.

Yeah, the head on stuff was funny!

I also think these new Headon commercials are funny, because it is basically an admission that they are indeed anoying.
Andy, I thaught your awards were funny, but I disagree that the Healthy Heart girl was bored and clueless, more like bored with an attitude! Never seen the Snickers commercial, though now I want to!
Some commercials that I hate with a passion are:

the new Danon chocolate yogurt commercial, (Zen wrapped in kharma wrapped in chocolate? Shopping for chocolate heels? What is that supposed to mean? Please!)
Ovalteen, (Need I say more?)
Then there is the whole subcatagory of commercial that either doesn't say, or doesn't vocalize what it's for... You're missing a large portion of the market here!)
And these are standard TV commercials. You wanna get into local radio commercials? Sheesh!

Commercials are just plain annoying to me these days. Everones either an idiot, a jerk, sarcastic, cynical, "Xtream", overly conchious about beinng annoying, a gimmic, of propaganda, or is just plain old carzy and just need's to chill out. And I hve to agree on the Ovalteen thing, Fragglemuppet.
