I read someone's take on the Whiter Shade Of Pale - Procol Harum - Harry Dean Stanton video that I posted at the start of this thread, and I agree with it. Below the video, themightyneely said: "Basically his wife dies and he refuses to accept it and even tries to make a deal with the devil to keep it from happening (trading the cards for not taking his wife). At least that's what I get out of it..." It's quite moving.

Harry Dean Stanton starred in "Monster Maker" by the way. He was so great in it, but he's always great!
