I like the Dixie Chicks' version because of the harmony, And the banjo part reminiscent of Kermit's version (The Banjo is heard in the Dixie Chicks' version.).

The original Kermit edition

Though the one that that guy sang at the end of the American version of the office was hillarious

The original's great, no question, but 2 versions rival it. The Sad Kermit version, and the little 30 second blurp that Ed Helms did on the Office where he sang in a high voice and said Ainbow-ra Onnection-ca. That was priceless.

The original, of course, but my favorite cover is Sarah McLachlan's, by far. What a wonderful voice she has.

Less Than Jake's is really not very good.

The original is the best.. as for nonMuppet versions, I like Willie Nelson's :sing:

Original. Duh. But I do love Sarah McLachlan's, a lot. (Does anyone have that, by the way?) And I must agree with you, Speed Tracer, I despise Less Than Jake's version... *shudder*

The original version. It's the only one I've heard!

Peter Griffin didn't technically sing it, but I can recall he had some sort of Puppet, and he was going to perform it... I forget which episode it was.

I don't know if you mean "including Kermit's" or "other than Kermit's" version of the song.

I just don't think anybody did it better than in The Muppet Movie, and the words in the reprise at the end were just as significant as the whole original song.
