Behemoth did in fact eat Kermit off-screen by implication in one of the season one Vet's Hospital sketches when he stuck his head out of his mouth in response to Dr.Bob saying that Behemoth had a frog in his throat.

And of course he was also trying to keep Shaky Sanchez from trying to poke his head out of his mouth when he ate him in the opening number of the Vincent Price episode.
