Which Came First: Unpaved the book or Unpaved the show?

I've been wondering, which came first, Sesame Street Unpaved the book (which I was more than happy to receive a copy of for my 16th birthday a few days ago), or Sesame Unpaved on Noggin? My book says the copyright year is 1998. I have no idea when Noggin first came around (I remember the all the way back to 2001, when I first got digital cable).

The Sesame Unpaved book came first, then the TV show Sesame Unpaved came next.

Noggin first premiered in 1999, a few months after the book came out.

Is that back when they had that Phred guy for the host? Then they got the little circle girl (I forget her name)), now we got that lame Moose A. Moose. I miss the original Noggin...I kind of grew attached to that little ditty "No-o-ggin wants to, No-o-ggin wants to, No-o-ggin wants to know".
