No news on Susan or Gina as of yet, huh? I'd imagine they've been let go, too, as implied, if not clearly stated, by Emilio.

I'd like to take this time to thank these people for the work they've done on Sesame over the years. They were just as much of a crucial piece to the show's history has anyone else involved. I never thought I'd see the day that these guys would just be fired, but I guess that's how it goes sometimes. Sad.

But as we've all discussed multiple times, Sesame isn't the show it once was. It's changed for one reason or another, and, depending on how much longer it sticks around, will continue to do so.

And let's look on the bright side. None of them have passed on. Theyr'e all still alive and well. I have a really good idea that in Season 50 they will most likely all come back for a very special episode to commemorate such a huge anniversery.

Hmmm. Let's see:

• MORE MONEY
• MORE SHOWS

One thing needs to be made explicitly clear: NO CREATIVE DECISIONS ARE MADE BY HBO. Considering this current season was filmed before the deal was even made, all of the current changes (format, set, cast) were already in place. HBO has nothing to do it with it.

People need to stop making HBO the scapegoat for all the things they don't like about the show these days.

BS OK so this deal gives them more money,and more shows. At what cost though? Look at all they have had to sacrifice just this season alone! I mean from what I have read they are barley even doing letter and number segments anymore.
You can't sit there and tell me that characters like Bob and Gordon are not relevant to today's kids,and that that is the only reason they got the boot.

I can sit here and say objectively the show doesn't suffer based on what human cast members there are and aren't. Is the show worse off that Savion or Uncle Wally aren't there?
