I dont know who this spokeswoman is from SW. But it's quite obvious that this news is true. So I'm not sure how this came about with her saying their not going anywhere.

Henson has had problems with HBO and creative differences in the past that's all I'm saying.

Sesame Workshop seems to be full of it if they think they can fire those guys and yet some how keep them around. Like saying we are going to fire you, but if for some reason we may need you for a cameo be ready. If that's the case and i where those actors I would tell them to stick it where the sun don't shine...

There's a difference between a show they acquired from another channel and an original series.

It doesn't seem like Bob or Emilio have any ill-feelings towards anyone. I'm sure they knew better than anyone that this day was coming. I'm also confident that they understand why they were let go. Your probably much angrier than they are about this.

Yeah, Bob has said on more than one occasion that Sesame Street eventually became more of a hobby than a job for him. Wouldn't surprise me if Emilio and Roscoe feel the same way.

Frankly, all the public speaking, conventions, public appearances etc, are giving the older actors far more work than Sesame Street has the last few years.
