When you've missed a few days

Due to the fact that I had family in town I missed reading the forums for a few days (before I joined I was a lurker). Now that I'm logging on again I find it hard and overwhelming to catch up on everything. I marked the forums read and then I wait a little bit to see what is still surfacing as people comment.

I know I miss a lot this way but I don't feel like I'm so far behind. Besides, I can always go back and read them if I need to.

How do the rest of you deal with this? I know I have a few more instances like this coming up with vacations and all.

I wish that could always be the same for me. Sometimes though some of the places I go I won't have internet access or even computer access.

Other times it's just to hectic to even try to check email from anywhere much less get onto a forum.

In these situations what do you all do? I do like knowing that someone else does the same thing that I do.

I don't read a quarter of that's posted here. I just skim thugh the topics if something interests me I'll have a peek and maybe comment.

Thats pretty much what I do. I mostly lurk in the Classic Muppets and general section. But if theres something intersting in another forum, I'll post

When I go to a specific topic, I have to read every posts.
