Exactly! And there seem to be a few certain people who keep doing it! (Not going to name names)

GAH!

Practically every single commercial on television today are desperately desperate anti-Obama ads: "People, whatever you do, do NOT vote for Barack Obama!", "I voted for Obama last election, but THIS election, I'm voting for MITT ROMNEY!", "Mr. President, you didn't do anything to help my family, or end the debt that my children alone will have to pay out of their pockets, therefore, I cannot vote for you again!"

I know the election is tomorrow and all, but I'm sick of all the hate Obama's been getting... Bush was one of the worst (if not THE worst) presidents we EVER had (and the one responsible for the economic crisis in the first place), yet he never got nearly as much hate as Obama has been getting... oh yeah, because he was a Republican. And a Texan. And white.

Well no offense and maybe I'm misunderstanding your post but you act like it's not okay for anyone to make anti-Obama ads simply because your voting for him. Some people on this forum act like if people don't vote for Obama then their the stupidest human beings on the face of the earth and vice versa when we should respecting each other no matter WHO were voting for tomorrow.

No, I'm complaining about that's all that's on TV today is nothing but hate ads, and I'm also complaining in general about how no other president has gotten nearly as much hate as Obama has when there have been plenty of presidents worse than him, i.e. George W. Bush.

Ahh well then that's a different story. But welcome to politics. There's been hate ads on TV for months. Of course your seeing them even more now because tomorrow is basically D-day. I honestly though don't have an opinion on Obama. But I don't think he needs to worry about calling a moving van. :stick_out_tongue: I think he's easily gonna take the election tomorrow.

Has anyone seen this latest political ad on TV: the mother sitting at her kitchen table, basically all, "Mr. President, why haven't you helped me and my family? You told us to spend, so we did, and what has that done for us? And YOUR spending, how has THAT helped us? If I vote for you, that's another four years of the same thing, so THIS election, I HAVE to vote for what I know is right, and I hope OTHERS will too."

Wanna know who's behind those ads?

KARL ROVE!

Yeah. HE'S still in the picture. The architect of the downfall of America. And NO ONE is saying that he is still in the picture.

Seriously... Obama does have some legitimate problems, but there is NO way he deserves all the hate he's getting. When Boarders was going bankrupt, there were shelves and shelves of anti-Obama right wing conspiracy theory books. The only left wing book on the shelf was about Glen Beck being a liar and an immoral jerkwad when he was a shock jock. And it's all the same tune. Socialism, Birthtards, tin foil hat kooky crap that oozes from the deep woods militant wackos to the sane ones. I will say this, part of it is racism. But only part. It's mainly the big amoral corporate interests that don't want someone in office that doesn't give them corporate welfare. And like I said, that doesn't create the jobs that are lost. They do create one type of job... but I can't add the word that goes before it. It's a family site.

The worst part is, the masses don't know that it's all a trick, and they're all pawns. The Tea Party? Yeah... they want to get rid of regulations and give rich people more money. That's for them?! Listen, unless you sell lead paint smoothies, regulation is NOT going to kill small business. The big companies that movie in right next door do. And the party is all funded by Fox News and the Koch brothers. Even the saner ones that don't carry Obama=Hitler because that's the only guy we know signs. I bet they even paid Frank Lultz (the go to guy for the Republican party to name things sinister with cute names and name beneficial stuff with sinister names) to give it a Patriotic sounding name instead of calling it the "MINE MINE MINE! GIMME GIMME GIMME Party." And those people are responsible for electing jerkwad Congressmen that cause the very partisan gridlock that's really destroying the country. How many times were we about to go over the fiscal cliff, and the "geniuses" said we need to shut down government? A little knowledge is a dangerous thing.

At this point, I want Obama to win as a punishment for those guys. If kids act up that way if they don't get what they want, they get punished. So they're behavior is WORSE than a little kid's, AND they get what they want. That's not fair at all. Especially since everyone on the left of them (which is like moderate Republican now) rarely gets what they want, they get only a little of it, and they're grateful for it.

I dunno... that's like saying "Oh, that big painful colonoscopy I have scheduled is tomorrow." The annoyance of waiting and it finally being over seems like a relief... but then you still risk the chance of having a big fat tumor in there that you still have to deal with. Not having to dread something anymore is cold comfort when the reasons to dread are realized.

But yeah... I'll be happy when I don't have to hear actresses paid by Rove to slander the president, but I won't be quite as happy if I have to learn French and raise a crapload of money to move to another country in under a year.

I'll be happy when both sides are done!!! I hate politics anyways so I'm obviously not the best person who be talking about it with it's not that I don't care about what happens to this country but I am sick of the bashing that comes with it. If your voting for Obama fine if your voting for Romney also fine. But dont make people feel like their trash or don't have intellagence just because their not voting for who you like.
