I understand where you're coming from, however in many cases it seems that this idea ends up backfiring on them terribly.Wow um thanks, I'm flattered! Lol.
But seriously, sometimes people use "lol" like that when they know they're disagreeing with someone just to keep the mood friendly, you know?

Oh yes the good ole days of dial up. When it took you an hour or more before you finally got online.

What the *bat language* is up with "YOLO?"
Seriously, it sounds dumb, people who use it generally are the people who are the first ones to do dumb things, and I just hate it. Who even came up with it? Yeah, yeah, the phrase "You only live once" has been around forever, but who the heck decided it should be an acronym and pronounced the way its spelled? Sheesh...
I don't understand slang...
