When Gonzo met Camilla

I was thinking this is how Gonzo met Camilla.

Remember that At The Dance sketch when Gonzo wishes someone would dance with him? All sorts of girls, including Piggy, blew him off. Then he suddenly saw a chicken and fell in love and they danced so wild clearing the floor. I like to think that chicken was Camilla and she helped Gonzo get over his obession for Piggy.

Of couse it was his sweetheart Camilla,
But they met before the muppet show.
In The muppet movie they were together.

The episode to which Xerus refers has Julie Andrews as the guest host which was before TMM.

yes, but the muppet movie was supposed to be set before the show.
It was everyone meeting.
At this stage the show had not happened in muppet land!

No, that was another chicken in TMM.

Gonzo just thought it was Camilla.

I read somewhere in an interview with Steve Whitmire (someone correct me if I'm wrong) That there wasn't just one Camilla. She had different eye colors almost everytime she appeared. So in story context whatever chicken that Gonzo could get to follow him around he called Camilla.

Well, at least his little yellow Camilla doll in Muppet Babies remained consistent!
