Because despite what Palisades originally thought, people arent really into the Muppets. My guess is 2/10 figures are actually sold.Fozzie54 said:I've been a bit out of the loop. Can someone tell me why might there not be a Series 10?
Why couldnt have people voted for Droop? poo.Luke said:You can scratch that it seems. I asked Ken about two weeks ago how the cow was going and he said all that had been done so far was collecting the reference matierial together and getting a few ideas down on paper.
It's hard to work out what the cow will come with actually, if we do see it.
I don't think so. The Muppet line hasn't just been an underground thing. The trouble is it has gone through varying degrees of popularity over different periods. At the start it was this mass distributed line in all these big toy shops but the general action figure collectors hadn't caught onto it yet and the kids weren't interested in it so it had minor popularity. Once it had moved away from the big stores and more into the comic ones, and had got a bit of coverage from Toy Fare mag it became the next big fad for general figure collectors and the sales it seemed really picked up because there was 'us' as well as 'them' buying. As these lines go on for long periods of time they always lose distribution in places, and the Muppets are no longer the "new" big thing for general figure collectors who have started to move on (not to mention cult figure collecting has boomed since Simpsons/Muppets as the market is so crowded right now with loads of companies getting in on it) so it's back to pretty much just 'us' now, without even the big store support of S1.beaker said:Because despite what Palisades originally thought, people arent really into the Muppets. Ya gotta remember, outside our little vacuum, sadly the Muppets as a serious collector things are underground.
