Another update for next year's Iron Man/Muppets crossover....

The story will feature a new model armor that's not designed by Tony Stark, which is much like his Hulkbuster Armor only bigger, more durable, and operated by approximately twelve people.

This new armor goes by three names (each coined by different characters from the story):

The Iron Muppet
Soul Sixxa
The Schizo

You can find out who came up with these names and read all about the new armor in "The Invincible" (the new Iron Man/Muppets crossover), coming next year to Muppet Central.

Also....

I've developed a new "teaser poster" for the story, which Kat Meyers has seen on MySpace. She says that it looks good, even though the picture I used of her for the poster is a bit overwhelming compared to the others that were used.

Everyone will see this poster soon in the "MARVELOUS Posters" thread.

That's all I have for now.

Update of my own... The crossover's churning in my mind and it'll probably come next year after The Dark Knight. But the real update is I now have a better idea of how the character of Alissa Tombas will appear. Not gonna ruin whatever plans my colleague Sean may have, Just stay tuned and things will be revealed, eventually.

You know, recently I found out that the new season of Avatar: The Last Airbender premieres September 21st on Nickelodeon (I'm hearing that much of it will deal with the infamous Fire Nation), and I realized that it probably won't be such a bad idea to wait for a while until I resume the "Silver Crystal" story. I'm actually considering having it be set either during or after the events of the next season, in order to spice up the upcoming events of the tale.

Not really an update. Just something that I thought about after I read the news on this site, which you can find all bits of information on the popular Nicktoon:

I do, however, have one update that I feel is important to alert you all of now, in order to give you something to look forward to next year (other than just the new Iron Man/Muppets crossover and the second Hulk/Muppets crossover).

Sometime around Halloween, when I start working on the Ghost Rider/Storyteller/Labyrinth crossover ("Rider's Delight"), I have a major announcement to make that deals with another promising crossover for the "Stranger Than Muppet Fan-Fiction" series, which I'm certain will start being posted here on the boards by March of next year.

I'll give you one hint about it: anybody remember the episodes of Muppet Babies titled "Good Clean Fun" and "Bug-Busting Babies"?

So... Does that mean there are certain paranormal experts we should make a phone call to in order to secure their services?

Haha! Possibly so, Count.

I can say this much....

The secondary franchises that are planned to be in this story are Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends, Scooby-Doo, and Danny Phantom.

The "working title" for the story is "The Grey DeLisle/Kevin Clash Show". I'll explain why it is later. Haha!

More updates on "The Grey DeLisle/Kevin Clash Show".

In addition to the other franchises that I'd mentioned the other day, this story will also feature villains from Avatar: The Last Airbender, who will serve as the main villains of the crossover.

The reason I'm referring it under the name "The Grey DeLisle/Kevin Clash Show" is because there are going to be at least five or more different characters from the "additional franchises" in the story that are voiced by Grey DeLisle (my favorite voice actress who some of you might know as the voice of Daphne Blake from What's New, Scooby-Doo? and the new TV/Straight-to-DVD movies) and at least five from my favorite Muppeteer, Kevin Clash.

No characters from the main franchise the story is based off of will be featured in the crossover.

I've chosen four MySpace friends (one of which is already in one current fanfic series I'm working on) to serve as the replacements for four main protagonists from the "original storyline."

Neither Sean Thomas (my fanfic alter-ego), Alissa Brown (my cyber-sister, known as "Lori Thomas" in "The MARVELOUS Muppets"), or Kat Meyers (my newest addition to "MARVELOUS") will be featured in this story.

This story has absolutely no connections to the events currently taking place in "The MARVELOUS Muppets" or "Sesame, DC" (which means you won't find any references to The Daily Bugle or The Daily Planet or Superman, Batman, Spider-Man, or The Fantastic Four in it).

There aren't any connections to "Legends of Disney" either.

The story will be featured in .html format and will be posted in its own thread here on Muppet Central at the same time.

It will be featured in two different versions: a clean, kid-friendly version will be posted on Muppet Central, while a version that I'm personally rating PG-13 with much wilder and more frightening material will be posted in the .html format.

There'll be references only to The Muppet Show, Muppets Tonight, and Sesame Street in the story.

References to Farscape, Fraggle Rock, The Jim Henson Hour, Labyrinth, The Dark Crystal, and all of the Muppet movies will not be featured in this tale.

No references to Muppet Babies featured either, although the premise of the story is based off of two episodes from the show.

There'll be references to stories written by ReneeLouvier (Sara) and theprawncracker (Ryan).

This story will have a new storyline thought up by yours truly, with only a few or so elements from the franchise it's based off of.

That's all I have for now.

A couple of updates for the holiday....

In "The Grey DeLisle/Kevin Clash Show", the Muppets that'll be the main focus of the tale will be Kermit the Frog, Fozzie Bear, Gonzo the Great, and Rizzo the Rat.

Meanwhile, for next year's Iron Man/Muppets and Incredible Hulk/Muppets crossovers....

Pepe the King Prawn will replace Link Hogthrob as one of the main Muppet protagonists for the two stories. He'll be joining Scooter, Rizzo, Gonzo, Fozzie, Digit, Sam the Eagle, and Bean Bunny.

That's all I have now. Hope everyone's having a MARVELOUS Labor Day Holiday.
