What year were the typewriter guy cartoons and the sand letter animations off?

i just wanted to say that i remember that guy!! that's awesome! :big_grin: i thought he was so cool. i remember the sand letters too, i remember the one that turned into a person who walked away.

I'm under the assumption that the typewriter sketches were taken off in the early '80's.

They were aired MUCH longer than that.

they were still on in the late 80's or early 90's at least.. or I never would have seen them

They were used pretty regularly until about 2002.

You were right that the typewriter guy ends in 2002, but not the early 80's or the early 90's.

You didn't mention about what Sesame Street Unpaved episodes did they show them, but I remember that the 'J' version of the sand letters is on the popular episode where Mr. Hooper died.

Do you remember what Unpaved episodes did they show the typewriter guy and the sand letters?
