Sesame Street News is the series of Newsflash segments that features Kermit the Frog as the news reporter and reported many fairy tale characters from stories. Until the 90's, they stop making more of them and still showed re-runs of them in the current episodes.

What year did the Sesame Street Newsflash segments debut?

I believe they debuted in 1971.

I believe the very first one was the one with Rapunzel from Season 4, and the very last one was the one where he interviews the bird in the park whose parents are divorced, and she sings about it from Season 21. There's also another one from that same year with Old MacDonald's health farm.

You bet that it was from Season 21, because I believe that it was just before Jim Henson died. Too bad they're never making new Newsflash skits again!
