yeah I did that one my cell, i can take little 15 sec clips on it, i poped in a "Best of the Muppet Show" dvd and hit mute and dub/talked like Statler & Waldorf.
Statler: I went showboarding yesterday...
Waldorf: oh yeah that aint nothin i cut all the fiber out of my diet
btw is there a site or somthin on my computer so i can show/have people hear me do em?
get a cheap computer mic, plug it into your computer, go to sound recorder in the accesories in the star menu. record yourself and upload it to www.PutFile.com
Well, turn that frown upsode-down! Encourage yourself to be brave! The best tool for voice work is a tape-recorder! However, though vocal chords are unique, they aren't like fingerprints. It just so happens that one's vocal style and sound manipulation can already be closer to say, Frank Oz's. ie, pitch, range. Understanding how the throat works, speech patterns, and, well, acting are something else.
I think that women kind of get gyped here. And I think that this must have been the case at the general auditions.
I mean, unless you're an unusually voxboxed female individual, you're not likely gpong to come close to any of the main Muppet characters.
i was going to say earlier that all the voices i do are for fun..i mean i dont intend anyday soon to auditon for disney, henson or sesame street..or anything i just have this talents...but i like voiceing my own characters better its just more fun...the others like muppet and other ones i use around friends when we are bored
