Just watched Beauty and The Beast, the original animated one, not the pointless live action one. I may be in the minority but, I never enjoyed it as much as the other films from Disney's renaissance (I'm more of a Lion King sort of guy). I always thought the plot was a bit lacking, and some parts lagged on. I also thought the voice acting was cheesy, and most of the songs didn't impress me much. However, towards the second half of the movie I did start to get more interested, and I got a lot more invested in the characters and their relationship. I also thought the villain Gaston, was a bit annoying, but the final showdown between him and the Beast, and than his eventual death were very satisfying.

Over all, i'll give the movie a 6/10. A bit boring, but when the plot picked up it became more exciting. Also the characters are all charming in their own right.

After an exhausting week (with a day of insanity still to go), rewatched "The Muppets" tonight. Needed some silliness.

Tomorrow night, going to see either "Logan" or "Get Out," depending on my mood.
