What Kind of Animal is Beauregard?

Not sure about Beauregard, but yes, it's currently accepted that Clifford is a catfish.

Clifford's human. He was designed abstract human, just like Scooter and Beau.

Or Beau could be a species yet to be discovered, like Honkers, Dingers, Grouches, Gorgs, Doozers, Fraggles, Frackles, or anything.

Heck, Beau could easily BE a frackle. Thog, Droop and Gonzo were frackles once, and they are some of the most gentle monsters you'll meet.

I know I've said it before, and I'll say it again, he looks like a capybara, which is a very large rodent. I don't know if the resemblance it intentional, but that's what he looks like to me.
