Rock Clingers are these very disgustingly cute small furry things, the story goes that is you stay near one too long it will fall in love with you and cling to you forever and ever. Gobo, Wembley and Traveling Matt discovered some in The Crystal Caverns. I believe the episode was titled Uncle Matt Comes Back and it aired during the second season.
