Here's some more info that may be helpful...

Some talk show hosts and other political groups rallied about Snoop (who has been an "adult" entertainer) being in a family movie that many children would see. They thought has presence would be negative and consequently Henson decided to edit the "movie" to save face on cutting his entire scene.

I think they made the right decision - and not just because of his profile. I've seen his shows (purely for Muppetty research purposes of course, had nothing to do with the girls ... much) and the guy just blatently cannot present or act. Even a short cameo would have really cheapend the movie even more.

Does anyone know what he said in the scene with the Mayhem? Or, more importantly, what the Mayhem said? I wish that they just reshot the scene with a different star because I really wanted to see the Electric Mayhem speaking again. Did all of the band members have lines in that scene? It looks like Janice was talking in the picture shown, but did Floyd, Dr. Teeth, Zoot, and Animal talk also? Did they sing? :sing: :flirt: :halo:

thousands of people mailed them to take him off of the movie so they did, also I'm sure the girls gone wild tapes that started to float around about that time didn't help any.

I still can't fathom why they ever even considered this...on what planet should the Muppets want to appear with Snoop Dog? More importantly, on what planet does Snoop Dog want to appear with the Muppets?!?!

If they wanted a rap or hip-hop artist why not LL Cool J, Queen L. (while she was still getable) or even Busta Rhymes?

But Snoop Dog?

I believe Snoop Dog has some young children. Maybe that's why he wanted to do it.
