What happened to Barkley, Biff, Sulley, Roxie Marie, Alice (Snuffy's sister), Merry Monster, Chicago the Lion, and Frazzle? I haven't seen most of these charcthers since the late 1990's(with the exception of Barkley). Are they all retired now? I hate when charcthers are retired, those are usually the best ones who bring alot of humor onto the show. Even Benny the Bunny had his fare share of humorus momments.

I just watched Sesame for the first time today and I see that Big Bird is not on as often as he use to. It's actually gotten sad. D:

Barkley is back, but not in much. All the others were retired since the writers and puppeteers grew tired of them. Jerry doesn't do too much other than the Count these days, and Roxie Marie hasn't been a regular since Zoe beacme a regular (as it gave Fran someone besides Prairie to play). Don't understand why the couldn't recast Sully... he never actually said anything.

Frazzle was o0ne of the "Let's bring back an old random character" experiments they started years ago. That was it.

Don't be silly.
Unless you're just kidding it's not like they're gonna know all these other characters.

Oh.... Didn't realize it. i though the entire reason they had Roxie was A) Positive female lead, and B ) to give Biff someone to talk to.

I wonder if hyped up characters of this era, Like Abby Cadabby and Curley Bear are gonna disappear into nothing like some of these characters. Alice was very hyped up in her day...

I recently learned that a few years before Richard Hunt died, Biff and Sully were given a new co-worker, Stella. She could have easily just been used in Sully's place. I don't know if she was discontinued before Sully died or not.
