Another one that's pretty unlikely is the Puppetman pilot. It would be nice, I've seen it at The Museum of TV and Radio and it's very cute. But it's a stretch to think it will be released. Still, anything is possible.

What I'd love to see but won't:

Muppet Babies season one Uncut (i.e. original Saturday morning, not syndicated prints)
Dog City the special and the cartoon series
Some sort of compromise between henson and Disney to release the Jim Henson Hour (they could put Henson productions in association with Disney/Muppet Studios on the label)
Old School SS vol 3 (80's edition)
Muppet Family Christmas uncut
collection of old skits and commercials... if possible with Kermit and Rowlf.
Puppet Up Uncensored.
I think that Old School Volume 3 and Puppet Up Uncensored would be the msot likely to get a DVD release next year (or least unrealistic). We're getting Old School Vol. 2 this year, and if that sells well then we sould get a volume 3 (though I don't know if it will be a 1980s edition or if Sesame Workshop will actually go back to the first five years). And Puppet Up seems to be popular. I don't know if Henson (or whoever is in charge of a DVD release) would want to release the web series on DVD (are there many web shows that have official, commercial releases?). But the special could be released (how were the ratings for it, anyway). Or maybe some newer performances could be tapped and released.

I definitely would love to see TMS Season 3 and FR4 on DVD in '08. For 2009 I hope Disney will reissue The Muppet Movie as a 30th anniversary edition, with the Hollywood and movies specials included.

Can anyone tell me if there was an Old School Volume 2 produced? Haven't found one in my area.

Really the Old School episodes are so much better than what is being produced today.

Thanks so much

Hi and welcome to Muppet Central. It's reported that Sesame Street Old School Volume 2 will be released on October 24, 2007, almost a whole year after the first release in this "series".
Hope this helps.

This year seems to be "the year of Jim Hneson DVD releases". So far we've gotten The Mupet Show: Season 2, Dinosaurs: The Complete Third and Fourth Seasons, two volumes of The Best of the Jimmy Dean Show (with four Rowlf appearances released on DVD so far), and on somewhat lesser notes the Sesame Street TV Episode Fun Packs, Kids' Favorite Country Songs, and Ready for School, and later this year we (or those who care, and have the money) will be getting Sesame Street: Old School Vol. 2, Fraggle Rock: The Complete Third Season, the first-ever US DVD releases of Play with Me Sesame, and new DVD releases of The Dark Crystal and Labrynth (the first-ever DVD releases of those movies to include audio commentary tracks).

With this in mind, it would be a challenge to top all that. But hopefully the plans for the Jim Henson's Early Works DVD will become a reality and not be cancled (and hopefully it can be released by the end of next year), and hopefully the thrid season of The Muppet Show will be released, hopefully the fourth and fifth seasons of Fraggle Rock will be released, and another Sesame Street: Old School volume will be released.
