When I expect to hear him cursing I hear it. When I expect to hear him say "Yes that sounds like an excellent idea." I hear that. Its really weird. I can hear it either way on demand.

There's a bit of a lisp between "sounds like" which creates a bit of an F sound, so when you're not paying attention, you'll definitely hear an F bomb.

I heard him swear but I had seen this elsewhere and the seed was already planted in my mind.

I wonder what the results would be if the question was simply "What do you hear Grover say?" without the 2 choices. I htink sometimes once the seed is planted people hear what they want to hear.

I think it’s in one of those things where you have to listen to it more than enough times to hear this sounds like an excellent idea rather than the F bomb. Though, some people have dirty minds and think that childhood characters are swearing instead of the something innocent.
