I completely left out two of the all-time scary classics!

One is the timeless Black Christmas (that eye is so uber-creepy!)

The other is Session 9 (a construction/cleanup crew in an abandoned psycho ward...brrrrrr, it's a chilly one)

Grrr...The Sixth Sense. Another one I forgot about. Good call homerthegreat.
I also liked Signs, The Village, and Unbreakable (this one wasn't scary, but it was still good). M Night Shayamalamanomenon comes up with some cool stuff.

When I saw previews for The Sixth Sense, I wasn't interested because it was marketed as a horror movie. But when I saw it - despite my misgivings - it turned out to be an incredibly powerful film experience. It's one of my favorite movies, and I am in awe of Shyamalan's talent. It's also the film that made me fall in love with Haley Joel Osment.

Happy Halloween everybody at MC!

I did like the Sixth Sense too, let's people know that our love ones are still here, even though they have passed on. I can't watch It,love Tim Curry, but his clown is scary. People Under the Stairs is scary too. Just watched an interesting horror flick with Bill Paxton last weekend, called The Vagrant. How about Hand That Rocks the Cradle, not scary horror, but just a scary thriller.
