That's exactly what I like and the book Street Gang! It's that evrything always wrote itself out in the end despite Everything. And at the and of the book, despite all Jim's worries, that is precisely what happened.

And like Jim himself and the choices he and his team made, it was done brilliantly.
Well actually it just sort of fell into place by chance. Jim never really lived long enough to see it happen or to react or respond to it. You have to read the book to see... But I know what you mean.

It just goes to show when something is truly good, it stays, the world needs it:excited:. Because if there was nothing to stand for the bright side of things the world would lose sight of what the good side of human nature can really be:sympathy:.

Valid point. Unfortunately, we cannot make everyone in the world see this, as good of a try as FR did to instill this value in people.
Just because everyone doesn't see doesn't mean you stop though:smile:

My Story...mmm..gather around children this is my west side story

I feel pretty
Oh so pretty
I feel pretty and witty and bright,
And I pitty any dude who isn't me tonight.

I feel charming
Oh so charming
It's alarming how charming I feel
And so pretty that I hardly can believe I'm real.

See the pretty face in that mirror there
Who can that attractive dude be?
Such a pretty face
Such a pretty jean jacket
Such a pretty smile
Such a pretty me!

I feel stunning
And entrancing
Feel like running and dancing for joy
For I'm loved by a pretty wonderful WOMAN!

Have you met my good friend Maria
The craziest girl on the block?
You'll know her the minute you see her
She's the one who is in an advanced state of shock

She thinks she's in love
She thinks she's in Spain
She isn't in love
She's merely insane

It must be the heat
Or some rare disease
Or too much to eat
Or maybe it's fleas

Keep away from her
Send for Chino
This is not the Maria we know

Honest and pure
Polite and refined
Well-bred and mature
and out of her mind!

I feel pretty
Oh so pretty
That the city should give me its key
A committee should be organized to honor me (la la la la la la la la la la)

I feel dizzy
I feel sunny
I feel fizzy and funny and fine
And so pretty, Miss America can just resign. (la la la la la la la la la la la la)

See the pretty dude in that mirror there (What mirror where?)
Who can that attractive dude be? (Which? What? Where? Whom?)
Such a pretty face
Such a pretty jean jacket
Such a pretty smile
Such a pretty me!

I feel stunning (I feel stunning)
And entrancing (and entrancing)
Feel like running and dancing for joy (feel like running and dancing for joy)
For I'm loved by a pretty wonderful WOMAN!

Would you believe I am hooked on phonics :halo:

I've been looking at the website and the forum for quite a while, but didn't visit as often as I do now. I decided to join last year to finally get a chance to join in and talk to other Muppet fans.
Age: 19 as of January 28th
Hobbies: Reading, singing and dancing
Future career: As a veterinary technician, hence my user name.
Favs: Animals, mostly dogs, Muppets, The Beatles
I've been a Muppet fan since I was little and always will be and I hope to teach my children about the messages the Muppets and Jim Henson teach through the characters in the future.
