I really like Bean alot! He is a great character and was great on "The Jim Henson Hour" and "Muppets At Walt Disney World." I really wish he was in more productions, the premise is great and he should be on more often.

Bean made his very first appearance on the special, The Tale of the Bunny Picnic where he was the star. Then later, he left his rabbit family and hutch behind and started making regular appearances on the Jim Henson Hour where it was his job to be cute.

I too would like to see Bean in more Muppet stuff in the future. And maybe Digit the Android as well.

This "Where is Phil?" thread got me thinking: Has Bean Bunny been retired? He was really hot there in the late 80's/early 90's and has been AWOL for quite some time.
As I am only familiar with the term AWOL as it applies to military situations (M*A*S*H), I read that and got this mental picture of Bean Bunny running amok somewhere. There's a terribly cute muppet rabbit on the loose! Someone help us!
