well, there goes my free-of-accidents streak

I was at my horse riding lessons and I was cleaning the horse's hoof, and when when I was done, the horse put it down right on my big toe. Ow ow ow ow ow! That is extremely painful. So now, even the littlest bit of pressure put on to it makes it hurt. So, now I'm walking around the house limping. *sigh* I wonder how it will feel with shoes on Sadly, I was doing well not getting hurt. this is the first accident I've had in about 2 weeks, which is really amazing, since I am pretty much the Beaker of this house. Maybe I hadnt gotten hurt in 2 weeks, I was due for a big painfull accident

Reminds me of the time my toe got broken last year. The first time I ever broke a body part. I had to wear a big foam bootie for like a month.

Ouch. Well, working with large hoofed animals does come with a few risks...but then, working with animals of any species (college floormates come to mind) comes with certain risks. Hope your foot heals quickly and properly.
Your comment about being due for an accident makes me think of that one (either Far Side or Close to Home) cartoon showing the office bulletin board saying: 11 Days Without an Accident...and the guy putting the notice up promptly falls off the chair he's standing on.

Must be a week for accidents; I managed to whack my nose into the headboard of my bed (in the dark) late last Friday night, resulting in the nosebleed to end all nosebleeds, and the bridge of my nose still aches a bit.

Its still a little sore, but its not as bad as yesturday. Thankfully its not broken. But I think its something going around in my class. 2 other classmates of mine broke thier toes yesturday
