This is the weirdest thing I could find.

Yeah... so apparently, in France it was the cool thing to have music videos for cartoon openings with some guy dancing around and some lame 1980's state of the art video special effects.

I especially like time code 0:34, where Pac-Man actually looks horrified by the presence of some dancing French guy.

Here's some more examples...

Ehhh.... apparently Randy Newman ghost wrote French theme songs? (Try and tell me it doesn't sound like Short People)

I'm not all that familiar with Sparticus and the World Beneath the Whatever they called this on Nickelodeon in English, but I'm pretty sure it's not about people jumping around on a giant typewriter.

Here's two with the same guy...

Ahhhhh, the forced capering and phoney playfulness.

Ahhhhhh, the ugly 1980's video effects.

In case you're wondering...

A) Sparticus and the Whatever the heck is the only actually French show here

B) The Pac-Man theme song is basically the same as the American one, only longer and with lyrics...

and C) The English Translation of the Pac-Man theme is:

Round like a ball
And more yellow than a lemon
He's the Pac Man, Pac Man
Nice little guy
Pursued by the ghosts
He's the Pac Man, Pac Man
He runs, he runs
He's smart
It's little paper ball
Who is not afraid of anything
Round like the sun
He leaps into the sky
He's the Pac Man, Pac Man
In secondsHe can go around the world
He's the Pac Man, Pac Man
He is always cheerful
He's right, for good luck!
Must be careful because these are the gluttons
Quickly a Pac Gum, he eats the ghosts
With his big heart, he will always win
Long live Pac Man
Inky, Pinky, Klyde and Miss Sue
[Hou, hoo, hoo]
Ghosts are not nice at all
[Hou, hoo, hoo]
They have to master the evil Toaster
But Pac Man, Pac Man always comes
Always great!
Round like a ball
And more yellow than a lemon
He's the Pac Man, Pac Man
He fears no one
Not even the wicked ghosts
He's the Pac Man, Pac Man
He runs, he runs
He's smart.It's little paper ball
Who is not afraid of anything!
Stronger than a giant
Although it is not very large
He's the Pac Man, Pac Man
It is courageous
And he did not shy
He's the Pac Man, Pac Man
He is always cheerful
He's right, for good luck!
It is in danger, but he is always ready,
Quick, a rubber pac, he eats the ghosts!
With his big heart, he will always win
Long live Pac Man!
Round like a ball
And more yellow than a lemon
He's the Pac Man, Pac Man
Nice little guy
Pursued by ghostsHe's the Pac Man, Pac Man ...
He runs, he runs,
he's smart.
It's little paper ball
Who is not afraid of anything!
Round like the sun
He leaps into the sky
He's the Pac Man, Pac Man
In secondsHe can go around the world
He's the Pac Man, Pac Man
He is always cheerful
He's right, for good luck!
Must be careful because these are the gluttons
Quickly a Pac Gum, he eats the ghosts
With his big heart, he will always win
Long live Pac Man!

Revamped versions of songs we all know - and what makes them strange to me is the new lyrics:

Indian Thriller - with "fake" lyrics:

Indian Thriller - This uploader says these are the real lyrics:

Indian Beatles
