If I eat too much peanut butter too fast (same with cheese), I literally have near heart-attacks! The other day at the store, I had a ton of cheese samples (I'm sure all of the little cubes of cheese samples I had equals the same amount as an entire block of cheese), and I tell you on the way home, I felt like I was really having da big one that time!

When I was 17 to 19 years old I used to fantasize about having my own rock and roll band.
I used to think I'd be the lead singer and dance around on stage holding my microphone in my hands while 4 musicians accompanied me on drums, keyboard and guitars. And they would all be female.
I thought we could have called ourselves Marty Johnson and His Gal Friends. Yes I said gal just like you do in America because I thought it sounded cool
Well it was quite a fantasy. I don't think I'd want to get into rock performance seriously though. Heh.

Hardly anyone down here in the south say "gal" anymore. Usually, "chick" is what I hear most of the time anymore. I mostly say either girl or woman.

I usually just say their name. Unless I don't know it, and then I just point and say "You". I don't think I've said girl for, like, a month. Till now, thank you.

Gal was more of a Southwestern thing

Gal was more of Southwestern thing, You know states like Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, etc. Anyway, it died along with the cowboy and the frontier. As for my weird thing besides being a member of this site I like to analyze wierd expressions that make absolutely no sense, such as the famous "cute as a button" Buttons never struck me as being exceptionally cute.
