I was just watching good morning America and they showed the we are Family Music Video and they showed Big Bird and Barney together. They also showed Kermit and Bear.

When did this happen.

Does anyone have a Video Clip of it?

It's due to deliver to schools around the country in March, and they filmed it last year.

Right now, though, there's a huge mix-up in the media and Christian organizations are pin-pointing the video, Spongebob Squarepants in particular, stating that the video promotes acceptance of homosexuality. The problem arose when the AP opened the wrong website (www.wearefamily.org) rather than the actual one which is www.wearefamilyfoundation.org. the Foundation site promotes the video and people accepting people regardless of race, religion, etc. The first site, without the "foundation" in the title, is the site that promotes acceptance gay/lesbian/crossgender lifestyles.

I posted some links at www.midsouthcartoonists.com today, and of course some of it is in farce and fun.

Is this the first/only time the SS & TMS Muppets have appeared with Bear?

Wow, I'd heard about the whole Spongebob-anger-homosexuality link. It's made me pretty mad. That's why I have no faith, it's a church that says:

"Oh yes, let's all be nice to people of all races and religions"
"What about those homosexuals?"
"Oh no, no need for that."

Makes me just a little bit sick.

On the plus side (or rather, not on the plus side) I bet DisneysMuppet would have liked to have seen it, if it links Barney with the Muppets.

The reason the church isn't "nice" to homosexuals is because to the church it's a sin. To the church it's like stealing or murder. I don't see why it is, but to them it is.

Why would they think SPongebob Squarepants promotes a homosexual life style? Does he have sex with men on his show? No. Sponge Bob has the psycological age of a child, he just happens to have a job. It's like Grover or Elmo, only a little older. What is wrong with these people who find things that are not there? It's like the purple teletubby all over again.

Oh, I just watched it. Looks like the Electric Mayhem is coming back. And I do not like Bill as Dr. Teeth. John Kennedy was much better.

Edit: Ok I take back the Dr. Teeth thing. The part at the end wasn't all that bad. And was that Floyd done by Jerry Nelson? Sounded like it, but I thought Floyd was done by John Kennedy now. Maybe this was done before the recasts.

Neeeeeaaaatooo!

That's pretty dang cool! I loved the Muppet parts. And I liked seeing characters from Between the Lions. They chose the Spongebob scenes pretty well (from the episodes Jellyfish Jam and Bubble Stand). But one thing: why did they only use scenes from old Jimmy Nuetron shorts, instead of the show or even the movie? The Oscar line was funny!

The "We Are Family" video was done several years ago. It's not something new.
