I watched today's episode, which originally aired on May 8, 1976. The host was Madeline Kahn; the musical guest, Carly Simon. Anyway, The Muppets are credited at the beginning of the episode, but the sketch was completely cut (thus making Don Pardo's joke at the end completely useless)! I'm ticked, 'cause I really wanted to see the sketch where the Mighty Favog says he knows the Beatles.

So far, that's the only one I've seen where they've been cut out.

Yeah, I saw one episode on there with Lily Tomlin, and the sketches were intact. I'd never seen them, so I was a very excited person.

Well then I guess it wasn't my lucky day. This is why I only tape my SNLs from NBC - because the cable stations usually cut the coolest sketches.

At least I know Scooter has the clip. Throw that one on my next tape, will ya please, Scoot?

I don't have the clip from the Madeline Kahn episode. This is the only one so far I haven't been able to find.

Son of a - THEY DID IT AGAIN!!!

I taped it last night, and they REMOVED THE GORCH AGAIN!! Last night's episode was hosted by Buck Henry (1/17/76). I haven't seen a lot of these Gorches, and I was aching to see the one with the sex device. Does anyone have it?
