I'm looking to make a trade for episodes of Sesame Street Unpaved (or the original PBS broadcasts).
Specifically, I'm looking for the episodes from 1969-1974 and 1984-1989 -- the years that Joe Raposo served as musical director. However, anything in between 1974 and 1984 would be OK too.
The format doesn't matter -- VHS, DVD, VCD... anything is OK, as long as the sound quality is passable.
As you can tell by my handle, I really enjoy Mr. Raposo's work, and I'd like to hear as much of it as possible. It seems like he wrote quite a bit of incidental music/songs for Sesame Street that never made it onto the albums. (An obituary I read said he wrote over 1,000 pieces of music for Sesame Street!)
In exchange, I can provide... episodes of Mystery Science Theater 3000 (mostly from the Joel Hodgson days -- you name it, I probably have it!). Or... I have several out-of-print Raposo-oriented things -- PM me with what you can offer, what you're looking for, and hopefully we could work out something.
If there is nothing of mine you might want, I would be willing to pay for the cost of materials/shipping/your time. I'd just like to get ahold of more of Raposo's work and I know of no one who gets the Noggin channel.
