Can anyone help me please? I'm looking for a recording of this that has its original ending intact - that is, as originally aired rather than a later re-edit.

Current copies cut from Statler & Waldorf singing at the end of the credit roll to either the JHP logo, or the shot of Zoot from 'Sax & Violence' with the copyright message superimposed. The original version should have a different shot at this point, with either the ATV or ITC logo on it.

I got this episode, but it's the Time Life version, with no ATV logo at the end, but rather the original Zoot ending with nothing on him.

The shot you're referring to on the Time-Life discs is not the original shot, unfortunately. I believe it was added in the 80s after Henson bought the rights back from ATV; it's more commonly seen with the "hit!" logo superimposed on it.
