I also enjoy the classic Sesame Street Episodes. I got a kick from seeing them on the special "The Street We Live on." My personal favorites were the Pixilated animated films they showed during the show, especially if they starred Maria. Throughout the years I did manage to videotape a few that appeared during the 1990's, but personally, my videotapes are seeing better days, and attempting to dub them to DVD would not work, since the tape's video or sound quality is very poor. But here were the skits anyway as I remember .

It was those type of films that really got my attention, and my love of the show. I beleive it started with a 1950's film called Neighbors, and at the time, they wanted a way to get the kids to pay attention. And they got it. When I was younger, I somethimes thought that the pixilated films featuring Maria made my love for her even stronger, since she looked so good in them. And especially the music heard in the background was good also.
